15 Awesome Restaurants and Cafes in Singapore that are also Hotspots for Pokémon Go Gyms and PokéStops!

Below are 15 restaurants and cafes that are also hotspots for Pokémon Go gyms and Pokestops. They are categorized into various locations: Raffles Place, Tanjong Pagar, Kampong Glam, Little India, Orchard Road, Somerset Station, Dhoby Ghaut Station and East Coast Park.

In case you have been living in a cave, Pokémon Go is a mobile game that has taken the world by storm. This is a location-based game where players walk around physically to capture and battle virtual creatures called “Pokémon”. It was developed by the company Niantic.

Even though Pokémon Go has not been released officially in Singapore yet, Update as of 06 Aug 16: Pokemon Go is now officially released in Singapore, and it is possible to get an idea of the PokéStops and Gyms’ locations based on another mobile game called Ingress, which was developed by Niantic too. Many landmarks in Singapore have been marked as “portals” within the Ingress Intel Map, a virtual map in the game. Many of these portals overlap with the PokéStops and gyms in Pokémon Go. Therefore, based on the Ingress map, the below districts in Singapore should have a high density of PokéStops and gyms.

So now, guys can have fun catching Pokémons while their girlfriends are taking pretty food photos for Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, etc. The perfect win-win situation. You’re welcomed.
