How To Get To Trümmelbach Falls in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland

In this article, I will be showing you how to get to Trümmelbach Falls, which is a series of 10 beautiful glacial waterfalls inside a mountain within the Lauterbrunnen valley. It is a UNESCO World heritage site. The waterfall is open for visiting between April and November. Adult tickets cost CHF 11 while child tickets cost CHF 4. You will not be able to use your Swiss Travel Pass or Swiss Half Fard Card because this attraction is privately owned. For more details, you can check out the official website.

Trümmelbach Falls

Method 1: Take A Bus From Lauterbrunnen


From Lauterbrunnen, you can take Bus 141 for 5 stops to the falls. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes and cost CHF 2.20 with the Swiss Half Fare Card (original price CHF 4.40). It is free if you have the Swiss Travel Pass.

Method 2: Hike from Lauterbrunnen


You can also hike for about 3.6 kilometres from Lauterbrunnen to Trümmelbach Falls. It is an easy flat route that offers dramatic views of the towering rock faces along the way.
