House of Eden (Central World Bangkok) – Pastel Pink Themed Cafe Serving Thai Fusion Food And Desserts

During our holiday in Bangkok, the wife was really eager to check out House of Eden, mainly because this cafe is known for providing a pretty pink backdrop for Instagram-worthy OOTDs.

House of Eden

House of Eden is a pink-themed cafe that serves a variety of Thai fusion food, desserts, pastries and cocktails.

There are two branches in Bangkok; one is located at Central World while the other can be found at Siam Discovery.

The wife and I visited the Central World branch, which opened in August 2018.

Popular Dishes

Recommended fusion dishes at House of Eden include the Grilled Kurobuta Pork With Mala Sauce (THB 370), Seared Snow Fish with Spicy Pork Crackling (THB 340), and Deep Fried Squid with Kimchi Mayo (Thb 270). If you enjoy eating spicy fusion pasta, go for the Spaghetti Bacon Garlic (THB 270), which is served with chilli padi.

For desserts, the Thai Tea Crème Brûlée (THB 180) and Lemon Meringue Tart (THB 230) are popular choices. The Matcha Chocolate Lava Cake (THB 230) has some good reviews too.

For drinks, the Strawberry Smoothie (THB 160) is a crowd favourite, but I recommend the Rose Milk Frappe (THB 160) which is made from rose syrup infused milk, and topped with fresh strawberries and cream. The cafe also serves cocktails and beers.

Lovely Pastel Pink Space

I spotted House of Eden from afar because it has a striking pink facade that is hard to miss.

Stepping into the cafe, I could immediately understand why it is so popular with the ladies. This pastel pink space is the perfect place to take Instagram-worthy pictures.

From the ceiling to walls to leather chairs, almost everything in the cafe is covered in shades of pinks. The white marble tables and floor provide a nice contrast.

The wife loved the high ceiling, which is covered with sparkly decor. The cashier counter doubles as a bar, with lovely bronze pendant lights hanging above it.

When we visited the cafe in December 2018, it felt like the staff were not very experienced. They didn’t really speak English, and our order took really long to arrive despite us being the only customers in the cafe.

Perhaps it was because the cafe had only opened for a few months at that time. Hopefully the staff are more well-trained by now.

Lychee Soda

As we had just eaten lunch elsewhere, we only ordered one Lychee Soda (THB 130). It was a pleasant cold drink that wasn’t too sweet.

Conclusion

Bangkok is well known for its themed cafes, and House of Eden is a pretty pink-themed cafe that will definitely appeal to ladies who enjoy taking OOTD shots. I spent a good 15 minutes taking photos of the wife here. But hey, happy wife, happy life.

Hi Jann! I guess it depends on what time you visit. When we went at 10.30am on a Thursday the cafe was empty.

    Cheers,
