12 Best Places to Eat at SkyAvenue Genting Highland – From KOI to dal.komm Coffee to Beauty In The Pot

SkyAvenue is a new lifestyle mall in Resorts World Genting Highland that has around 70 eateries! I visited this mall recently and was impressed by the variety of delicious food here. Below is a list of my 12 favourite places to eat at SkyAvenue, arranged in alphabetical order.

1. Beauty In The Pot

Beauty In The Pot is a Singapore Chinese hotpot restaurant known for its signature Beauty Collagen Broth. The Genting outlet has a seating capacity of 266 pax, and is designed with a “pink princess” theme.

If you are a hotpot fan, this is a must-visit! Make sure you order the Signature Beauty Collagen Broth (Scallop & Pork Bone Soup). A single pot costs RM32, while a quarter pot starts from RM10 each.

This restaurant is currently extremely popular: when we visited the restaurant at around 2pm, we were told that we could only get seats at 4pm! Therefore, make sure you go early to get a queue number, or call in advance to make reservations. Or you could visit late at night for supper; the restaurant opens daily till 2am (last order at 1.15am).

2. Boat Noodle

3. Bubble Tea

We were pleasantly surprised to find both KOI and Gong Cha in SkyAvenue! Therefore, you do not have to worry about missing out on bubble tea during your Genting holiday.

We bought one Gong Cha bubble tea and it tasted very similar to the one in Singapore. It was nice to shop around SkyAvenue while drinking our bubble tea!

4. Burger & Lobster

Original Lobster Roll

Burger & Lobster is a world famous restaurant known for its delicious burgers, lobsters, and lobster rolls. We’ve tried the branch in New York before and the food was delicious.

We had the Original Lobster Roll (RM138), which was delicious! The lobster meat was fresh and juicy, and went perfectly with the mayonnaise sauce and warm buttered bun.

We also ordered the Seven Samurai Lobster Roll (RM98). The lobster was delicious too, but the sauce had a tangy taste which we didn’t really like.

On the whole this was a good meal, but it was very expensive compared to Burger & Lobster branches in other countries. Nonetheless it is still very popular. When we went at 12.30pm on a Monday, there was already a queue of around 20 people outside. The restaurant does not accept reservations.

5. dal.komm Coffee

Korean drama fans will be familiar with this cafe. dal.komm Coffee appeared in several scenes of two popular Korean dramas: “Descendants of The Sun (DOTS)” and “Goblin”.

The menu offers artisan coffee, a variety of sweet drinks, Bingsu, sandwiches and pastries. The food is decent but a bit expensive. But I’m sure Korean drama fans will be more than willing to pay the premium.

9. Malaysian Food Street

Malaysian Food Street is a food court with many stalls selling local delicacies such as Chicken Rice, Fish Head Noodle, Penang Prawn Mee, Char Kuey Teow, Bak Kut Teh, and more.

We came here for breakfast and ordered several dim sum dishes like Fried Carrot Cake (RM10), Har Gao (RM7), Loh Mai Kai (RM9) and Siew Mai (RM7). These were quite delicious and we had a satisfying breakfast.

Jom Makan Street Food is just beside Malaysian Food Street and offers halal dishes like Nasi Lemak, North Indian style curries and Nasi Ayam Claypot.

Note that when we went in the morning at 8.30am, many of the stalls were still not open yet. Therefore you might want to go at a later time to avoid disappointment.

You need to use a stored value card to buy the food here. This can be easily purchased at a booth inside the food court. It is fully refundable.

10. Marrybrown

Ever since I first tried Marrybrown at Genting Highlands a few years ago, I will always have a craving for it whenever I go back to Genting.

Somehow, the fried chicken in Malaysia just tastes so good! First, I was treated to the delicious taste of the crispy fried skin. Then, as I bit in further, the savoury juices of the moist and tender chicken meat oozed into my mouth, permeating my palate with a fragrant meaty scent. This simple fast food meal always leaves me so satisfied!

11. Palsaik Korean BBQ

Palsaik Korean BBQ is a Korean BBQ chain in Malaysia known for its 8 flavours of pork meat. This is very similar to 8 Korean BBQ in Singapore, and I wonder if the two entities are related.

We ordered the Exclusive 8 Color Set (RM168), which is for 2 to 4 persons. It comes with 8 pork slices, each marinated with a different sauce. The set also includes a Korean stew.

The pork slices were extremely well-marinated and had a pleasant smoky flavour. It felt really good to chew on the tender and savoury meats in my mouth. This was one of our most satisfying meals in Genting!

12. Paradise Dynasty, LeNu and Canton Paradise

Paradise Dynasty 8 Flavours Xiao Long Bao

Paradise Dynasty is a classy Chinese restaurant that is known for its signature “Dynasty 8 Flavours Xiao Long Bao”. The menu also offers a variety of other delicious Chinese dishes.

LeNu is a restaurant known for its variety of Chinese noodles. It is located beside Canton Paradise. I ordered the “Braised Pork Rib with Scallion Noodle (RM36.90)” and it was delicious! The noodles had great bite and the pork ribs were juicy, savoury and tender. This was one satisfying dish.
