My Wedding Vows at Our Solemnization (The St. Regis Singapore, 18 Dec 2016)

Today is my second wedding anniversary and I have decided to publish my wedding vows at our solemnization two years ago. If you are thinking about what to write for your wedding vows, hopefully this will offer some inspiration. The ceremony took place at The Diplomat Room in St. Regis Singapore, under the supervision of Justice of the Peace Mr Francis Ng.

My Wedding Vows

Baby, I am so happy to have met you.

I remember five years ago, you were this pretty but shy girl in office whom I kept trying to ask out, but you kept rejecting me.

Luckily, I was thick skinned enough to keep trying because if not, I would not be able to stand here today and call you my wife.

You are beautiful, smart, caring, and patient. To me, you are the most perfect partner one could ever ask for.

And so as we enter the Holy Shrine of Love together, I promise to be your lover, companion and friend, and to always love you unconditionally.

I will cherish you and never take you for granted. I promise to let you indulge in your food whims and cravings, even if it means eating Korean BBQ every weekend for an entire month again.

And as a bonus, I will also be your Instagram husband forever.

I will make sure that I live longer than you, because I would never let you go through life without me by your side.

Raevian, I love you.

You have stolen my heart, and I want you to keep it forever.

This is part of a series of articles where I share about my wedding preparations leading up to the Big Day. Check it out: Evan and Raevian’s Wedding Journey
