Luke’s Lobster Singapore – Famous New York Lobster Rolls Coming To Orchard Road In August 2020

Good news! The famous Luke’s Lobster from New York will be opening its first Singapore branch at Orchard Road next month.

New York branch

Luke’s Lobster is a famous seafood joint best known for its delicious lobster rolls. It was originally founded in New York, but has expanded to many outlets across America.

It also has over 10 branches in Japan, where it is extremely popular. I visited the Tokyo branch at its opening time and there were already around 20 people queuing! I had to wait in line for 20 minutes.

Other than lobster rolls, Luke’s Lobster also offers crab rolls and shrimp rolls.

First Ever Singapore Branch

The Luke’s Lobster Singapore outlet will be located at Shaw House along Orchard Road. It has a seating capacity of 30, but will only accommodate 15 to 20 diners due to social distancing measures.

Food delivery will also be their number one priority, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Luke’s Lobster is brought in by lifestyle company Caerus Holding, which also brought in Mille Crêpe cakes specialist, Lady M, to Singapore in 2013.

Having tried the delicious lobsters roll in both New York and Tokyo, I’m happy that I can get to eat them in Singapore now too. The price of the lobster roll is still unknown, but for reference the price in New York is USD17 (SGD24). In Tokyo, it is ¥1058 (SGD14) for the small size and ¥1706 (SGD22) for the large.
