(CLOSED) Gran & Berries – Delicious and Healthy Homemade Granola Bowls Found At Funan Mall

Recently, I came across Gran & Berries at Funan Mall. I was surprised to see a shop selling healthy treats in the mall and decided to check it out. After indulging in so many new bubble teas in Singapore for the past few months, it was nice to eat some healthy food for a change! Update 13 January 2020: Gran & Berries has closed down.

Gran & Berries (short for Granola & Berries) is a small takeaway shop at Funan Mall that offers homemade granola bowls topped with fresh fruits and other healthy toppings.

Their goal is to serve high-quality “real” food that is healthy, delicious, and natural.

I was impressed to learn that their granola is made by hand and baked in store. These premium granolas are made with quality raw rolled oats from Australia, together with nuts, seeds and spices.

The staff was friendly and even offered granola samples for us to try.

Gran Blend Menu

The main item here is the Gran Bowl. Here’s how to order this delicious granola bowl:

  • Choose a serving size.
  • Choose a base between milk, soy and yogurt (plain or vanilla).
  • Upgrade to seasonal granola or super fruits (strawberries, blueberries, etc) for a small additional fee.
  • Add on more toppings like basic fruits (grapes, oranges, etc), super fruits and chia seeds if you wish.
  • You can also request to pour some honey (free!)

Other than granola bowls, the menu also offers Gran Blends. These are fresh fruit smoothies made with botanicals (rose, lavender, mint), bananas, vanilla yogurt, fresh milk, granola bits, and crushed ice. Go for the tantalising Blueberry Lavender ($6.80), or if you are feeling healthy, the Spinach Grapes ($5.40).

Maple Cinnamon Pecan Granola with Vanilla Yogurt and Grapes

The wife and I decided to share a Small Gran Bowl ($4.80), which comes with granola and one basic fruit.

We chose Vanilla Yogurt for the base, upgraded to the signature Maple Cinnamon Pecan Granola for $1, and went with grapes for the basic fruit.

The highlight was the homemade granola of course! I loved the sweet maple cinnamon scent and the alluring fragrance of oats, which were punctuated by the crunch of lightly musky pecan nuts.

The granola went together perfectly with the lightly-sweetened vanilla yogurt and fresh grapes.

On the whole our granola bowl was delicious, refreshing and full of natural goodness. Below are some other tantalising treats from Gran & Berries.

Conclusion

Gran & Berries is a great shop in Funan Mall to visit for delicious and healthy food. I was especially impressed by how good their homemade granola tasted – I highly recommend the Maple Cinnamon Pecan Granola! The next time you are at Funan Mall and thinking of buying sinful snacks (or bubble tea), you might want to consider checking out the healthy granola bowls at Gran & Berries instead.
