My Montreal Airbnb Review (Host: Paige) – Highly Recommended

We stayed at an Airbnb during our holiday in Montreal. When researching for accommodations, we came across Paige’s airbnb listings, and in particular we were impressed by the pretty “La Dany” Luxury Old Port Boutique Apartment. This cozy one-bedroom apartment was perfect for our two day holiday in Montreal. This is our review of the airbnb. If you are planning to stay at an airbnb too, you can click here to redeem a $45 discount coupon.

Great Location

One of the reasons why we chose this airbnb was because it is located in a great location. It is just a few blocks away from the charming Old Montreal district, which is where many of the main Montreal attractions are. Old Montreal is known for its European flair, gorgeous old world architecture, quaint cobblestone streets, trendy boutiques and great restaurants. Therefore, this airbnb was perfect for us to stay since it is so near all the major attractions.

Pretty Apartment with Lovely Attention to Detail

However, the main reason why we chose Paige’s airbnb was because of the pretty contemporary decor. Located on the 14th floor, this cozy one-bedroom apartment is a tastefully done up space with beautiful hardwood floors and stylish furnishings. We especially loved the transparent table and chairs in the common area. The apartment’s centrepiece is a pretty abstract painting on the wall that elevates the overall style.

The wood-themed bedroom was lovely too, with a comfy queen size bed covered with clean white linens. It was perfect for resting after a long day of exploring Montreal.

Entering the bathroom, we were impressed to see that it was nicely decorated too. It even had a large impressionistic painting hanging on the wall. The spacious bathroom was very clean with a nice bathtub and pretty granite-top cabinet.

Great Amenities

We liked the kitchen which was nicely designed with granite counters and wooden cabinets. It was fully equipped with a stainless steel oven, microwave, stove, refrigerator, and sink. There was free WiFi in the apartment, and the living room had a flat-screen TV with cable channels.

On the listing’s airbnb page, it is stated that guests have access to the lobby, lounge and gym of the Embassy Suites hotel. We didn’t manage to check out the hotel’s amenities though.

Conclusion

On the whole, we had a very pleasant stay at Paige’s “La Dany” Luxury Old Port Boutique Apartment. This chic one-bedroom apartment has a wonderful stylish design and is located in a great location near Old Montreal. The amenities are good too. We also liked that there was great communication with Paige before and during our stay. It gave us peace of mind knowing that she was contactable in case of any mishaps. We highly recommend this lovely airbnb if you are visiting Montreal.
