12 Best Stalls in Lau Pa Sat, Singapore

Lau Pa Sat (also known as Telok Ayer Market) is a popular food centre located in the heart of Singapore’s business district (CBD). This octagonal building with beautiful Victorian roof and column structures houses many stalls selling awesome hawker food. Even though it is more of a tourist trap at night, one can still find much delicious hawker fare here during daytime on weekdays. A Noodle Story – AWESOME Noodles at Amoy Street Food Centre (Singapore)!

A good friend introduced me to A Noodle Story at Amoy Street Food Centre recently, and I was blown away by the stall’s delicious noodles! Located on the first floor, this small stall is famous for its fusion noodles dish which seems to be a cross between Japanese Ramen and Chinese Wanton Mee; or as the owners call it, “Singapore-style Ramen”. Due to its popularity with office workers in the surrounding CBD area, there is always a long queue here during lunchtime on weekdays. Our Fairy Tale Wedding at The St. Regis Singapore (John Jacob Ballroom)

We stood outside the John Jacob Ballroom at The St. Regis Singapore, bracing ourselves for the first wedding march-in. I felt Raevian tightening her hand around my arm. I put my hand over hers, and told her in the most reassuring tone I could muster:

“It will be all right dear. Just breathe.”

The march-in song started playing, and a short while later the hefty doors slowly opened to bright white lights, wispy smoke, and silhouettes of our guests giving a standing ovation. I could feel my heart beating really fast now. After months of preparation, this moment had finally arrived.

LiHO Singapore – Our Verdicts of the Signature Cheese Teas

These are exciting times for the bubble tea scene in Singapore. First, RTG Holdings announced that it will be changing all their Gong Cha outlets into LiHO outlets, due to contractual issues with Unison Capital, the Gong Cha franchise’s parent company. Then, Unison Capital retaliated with a counter jab of sorts, announcing that the Gong Cha brand would be returning to Singapore soon in a “bigger, better, upgraded format”.

This may be an interesting bubble tea saga, but at the end of the day we are much more concerned with whether the bubble tea still taste good – regardless of whether it’s called Gong Cha or LiHO or BuayHO. We tried out some of the LiHO drinks, and here’s our verdicts. Continue reading

Absolute Inspection – Awesome Defects Checking Company in Singapore
