Casual and Convivial Vibe
A for Arbite Restaurant Interior

We loved the vibe at A for Arbite. The restaurant decor resembles a children schoolroom with its spacious interior, bright-coloured furnishings, plastic chairs, large chalkboard lining the wall, and paper airplanes hanging from the high ceilings. Kids will definitely love this place, but the casual and convivial atmosphere makes A for Arbite a great place for adults to hang out as well.

Truffle Fries ($12)
A for Arbite Truffle FriesNormally, I am not a big fan of thick-cut fries. But for some reason, I really enjoyed the thick-cut Truffle Fries ($12) at A for Arbite. The fries were crisp and savoury, with the truffle oil adding a nice subtle fragrance to the overall taste.

My Wife’s Chocolate Cake ($8)

We also ordered the dessert with the tongue-in-cheek name: My Wife’s Chocolate Cake ($8).

This appealing dessert consists of a scoop of salted caramel ice-cream served on top of a liberal pile of coffee “soil”.

The salted caramel ice-cream was an enjoyable treat, with its unmistakable salty and sweet flavours. The coffee soil was slightly sweet with a subtle bittersweet coffee flavour. The kiwi and strawberry slices added a refreshing tangy taste.

On the whole,  the unique blend of flavours – salty, sweet, bitter, sour – made this a novel sensory experience that will appeal to people who are looking for something different from the usual cloyingly sweet desserts.

Gryphon Peppermint Tea ($6)

We finished our meal with a pot of Gryphon Peppermint Tea ($6), elegantly served in a Gryphon Tea Company tea pot.

The gourmet tea was light-bodied with the refreshing flavour of peppermint, making it the perfect drink to wash down the sweet dessert and oily fries we had eaten earlier.

Earnest Service
The staff were all prompt and earnest in their service. Everyone here practices service-with-a-smile so it made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Kudos to A for Arbite’s good service!

Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much
A for Arbite Motto - Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much

Overall, A for Arbite exudes a vibe that is very much synonymous with the motto hanging on its back wall: Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much. The spacious interior, bright colours, and friendly staff create a convivial atmosphere that everyone will definitely love. And there is good food to go along too!

A for Arbite is a children-friendly place where parents do not have to worry about their kids getting hurt due to crammed spaces, and there are toys to keep children occupied while adults socialize.

The price point was a tad high, but I guess it is reasonable considering that the restaurant provides great food and service along with a wonderful ambience.

We’ll be back!
